Supporting Independent Music by Artists & Record Labels

About

At The Local Tune, we believe that there is so much great music out there besides the usual “Top 10" songs. Independent music is so much more - it tells a story of you, your city and your culture.

If you are an Artist and/or Record Label, chances are that you are already selling your music to your fans, that’s great! But as a music copyright owner, you are entitled to Music Performance Royalties when your music is performed or streamed in public, for example at retail stores, shopping malls, restaurants, bars, clubs, gyms or when it is broadcasted over the radio, television or even over the internet.

However, it will be difficult and time consuming for you to collect Music Performance Royalties from these music users, especially when your music is being used overseas.

The Local Tune helps independent Artists and Record Labels to track, collect and administer Music Performance Royalties worldwide. We also partner with businesses (Music Partners) to stream your music which in turn generates more royalties for you.
